It occurs to me that many people are following the blog from all over the country and want to pay their respects to Gary.
Gary's family will also be honoring Gary in his hometown in Wadsworth, Ohio. We don't have a date yet, but we will post the information here as soon as we know the details about the service.

Dear Morissa,
Tim and I will not be able to be there on Saturday August 23rd for the celebration of Gary's life in Seattle, but we will attend in Ohio. Please know that we will be there in spirit. We are so very sad about this, but we have great memories about Gary to share. He will always have a special place in our hearts. Please keep in touch with us. My husband Roger and I wanted to say that we have been praying for Gary, you and Gary's family since we first heard about the accident. My husband has known Gary's family for a long time because he and Mark (Gary's brother) hung out together in high school. Our hearts are heavy for you and the extended family. I hope it brings you comfort to know that many people are holding you up in prayer.
